It’s humour, in some cultures. The joke is that they are coitradnctory and each suggest each other as an alternative. I know, in some countries or cultures that is not funny. But I thought that was really funny …and I did not laugh out loud. I just chuckled. But that does not mean it was funnier than, say, other kinds of humour.
